More than just customers, you're my chosen family!
It seems like so long ago in so many ways. That I was at work giving my best customer service to some of the greatest people in their respected businesses. It's not until your out of the loop and gone from the daily grind do you start to see the forest through the trees. It came to me yesterday as I was on a road trip with my friend Rick Smith, He is our sales rep at Ameripride and he was kind enough to get me out of the house. So we went to Chico to visit some of my old customers and sell new accounts. I had a list of some of my most favorite accounts as a guide to help with time and make sure I hit those customers that I now consider very dear friends and family. You see I've always considered myself part of my customers business, if you become integrated with a company to the point you're as valuable as their regular employees you now are part of their family, then you have a customer for life. That's where I am with a lot of my customers I have become a dear friend and family member. So yesterday was needed to let my extended family know that I was ok and that I would be continuing to fight the good fight. Also to firmly embrace them with the love that they have been showing me through this battle. A good example of Gods unfailing love from the heart of family is one of my customers actual gave me a key to his summer home in Eureka to use anytime I wanted and to just get away and not worry about a thing, just go and enjoy, Thanks Lonnie we are making plans to do just that. Gods love is meant to be shared with no boundaries or conditions and we are mandated to do this everyday, trust me I see it. Thanks one and all for the extra prayer Monday I made it through 2 very tough days of pain and its been better but I start my next chemo tomorrow. Here we go again! Love you all, Dave and Family.
