Hi everyone I went to an appointment yesterday for a nuclear medical scan. Very interesting process where they draw a small amount of blood then infuse it with a radioactive substance and then put it back into the blood stream. They then use a scanner to do motion pictures of the substance being moved through the heart with each beat. They wanted to make sure that my heart will handle the stress of chemo for the long haul. The guy said it looked good and the reports would be read and forwarded to my doctor. Lately it has been dreadful even to think about eating, it's not the physical act but the why I feel when I'm done and I don't eat a lot at a time so I've got to figure out what is goning on. Please continue to pray for me in this area! I have been studying the Bible a lot lately and found I love reading about Gods plan and will for us. As I go further into his word I realize that how can we honestly say we know what God wants for us when most of the time we are so wrapped up in daily living that we don't spend the time getting to know him. The Bible sometimes speaks of God as a place to live;"Lord you have been our dwelling place in all generations" (palsm 90:1). *If we learned to live by faith in the the One who outlasts and uplifts us, who is "our dwelling place in all generations" (*sept. upper room daily devotional) we would be in closer harmony with what he wants. What does it mean to live by faith that God is our dwelling place? It means to be mindful that we come from God, we belong to God and we go to God with all things. So It benefits all to spend time in God's word to build a relationship with and learn more about our own faith in him. If you need to find out more you can call or email me or dial 1-888-needhim
Thanks and love Dave and family
