Long and busy weekend!
Hi to all, sorry I haven't been on in a couple days but it has been a busy weekend. Saturday we had a birthday party for my youngest son Spencer(10-5) he's 12. So Friday we shopped for party stuff and Saturday it was prepare, then party down. Sunday was a full day watching our 14 month old nephew for half the day then a band performance at the High school for my oldest son Colby. He is in so much of the music program I don't see how he keeps it all together. He performs in the PEP band, concert band, Jazz band, Choir and the Enterprise Starship Variety group which is a singing and dancing program that travels all over the country doing shows. Ah to be young! As for his old dad I made it through but was battling be sick and tired a lot. All I can say is this round of chemo is kicking my butt! I feel more like a cancer patient now! I guess that the more of these drugs I get in me the more it will tear me down but it better be tearing the cancer out also, time will tell! Like this morning I woke at 5:30am ate, read the paper, took my meds, got the wife and kids off to school and now I'm blogging, then it will be time to take a nap. I can't get use to this it's not what a man that's use to working all his life is suppose to be doing. I find it impossible to be like this for anybody the world is going on out there and I'm missing it. My schedule for this week looks like; take pills and more pills till Thursday. Friday I start my rest period, Thank you God!! and Friday I hope will be my scan, no confirmation on that yet, I have two call in wanting to know the schedule. So pray, pray and more prayer for strength and vitality and keep calling, writing and communicating with me and I will be fine.
